Friends Of Inner-City Fund Host The 45TH Annual Friends Gala 2022 At Cipriani’s

Hundreds of guests including His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will gather to support Inner-City Scholarship Fund.

The city’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing tuition assistance to low-income students attending Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York, at its 45th Annual FRIENDS Gala on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, from 6:30 PM (Cocktails at 6:30 pm)– 7:30 pm – 10:00 PM (dinner) at Cipriani 42nd Street, 110 East 42nd Street (between Lexington and Park Avenues), Manhattan.

This year’s Gala Chairs are Mary and Jon Rather, General Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe.

This event will feature remarks by Cardinal Dolan, as well as a performance by the talented students from Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx and Notre Dame School in Manhattan, New York.

They will perform a medley of songs with a ‘welcome back theme,’ to celebrate this event returning in-person for the first time since before the pandemic.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Inner-City Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance to over 9,000 students (90% minority and 37% non-Catholic).

An astonishing 99% percent of seniors attending inner-city Catholic high schools graduate, and 98% are accepted to colleges and universities across the nation.
